It's Friday evening again, I sit here looking back on another very busy week and I wonder where the week has gone. We have been working all over the country in the last few days from Blackburn to London but nothing pleases us more than to come home to more local businesses asking for our services as they are growing and expanding their current premises or moving into new bigger and better sites. This week's main announcement is a business that's just coming up to their first anniversary - the Midlands Gymnastic Academy. Sean & Sam offer an amazing facility, providing coaching & teaching gymnastics to children of all ages, they make the sport super fun for the beginners but also have experienced coaches for what we hope to be Nuneaton's future Olympic champions. I'm so glad that when Sean needed someone to respond quickly and efficiently to their Fire Extinguisher and Fire Safety Obligations they chose us here at AMP Fire.
It has been a manic few weeks here at AMP Fire, we've got new customers flowing in through the door faster than we can blink and we've been developing new relationships within the trade too.
It is great that we seem to be the no1 choice for the local independant businesses as we have received no fewer than six brand new works orders from local businesses this week alone. A remarkable acheivement as we use no sales staff and we never cold call. As a family run business we just try to put our message out there and let the good people of our local area, here in the midlands, make the great choice of choosing us.
The end of January meant we had our 2016 figures all completed and we are so glad to announce that yet again we've kept our 100% record on customer retention, every single one of our Fire Extinguisher Annual Inspection customers has decided to stay with us, in fact we have never lost a customer since we started in 2009.
It is a simple plan here at AMP Fire, we offer a simple and easy to understand service with no hidden charges and we don't employ salesmen or offer commsion sales insentives. We take the time to fully explain everything we do whilst at your business premises. This plan sees us continuing to offer Fire Protection Services and continue inspecting your premises and maintaining your extinguishers throughout the midlands.
Finally, we were glad to recently support a fellow local independant business here in Leicestershire and we purchased a lovely new sign for own premises. Matt Paton owns the local mechanics garage in the historic village of Stoke Golding just between Nuneaton and Hinckley after working as a trusted mechanic for 15 years at a local car dealership several years ago he took the leap to start his own business. His passion for quality and good service has provren to be a winning formula and his business has grown quickly resulting in having to move to a larger premises. The new premises required additonal new Fire Extinguishers and a thorough Fire Safety Inspection. Universal Care have been a longstanding customer of ours, and its great to see them going from strength to strength. We started with the old Nuneaton office making sure their Fire Extinguihser cover was adequate, and their annual Fire Extinguisher Inspections were taken care of. It wasn't long though before the MD Jeb was taking full advantage of our FREE consulation advice and FREE SURVEYS. His passion for making sure his staff and carers are the best trained in the business really showed when we worked closely with his Training Manager Linda to adapt Fire Safety and Fire Marshall Training for his staff members when visiting other properties.
Following this Universal Care has expanded and we supplied and installed Fire Extinguishers at Coleshill and Leicester offices, then later last year we also fitted and inspected the Fire Extinguishers at their Northampton branch and Corby Site. So it was great news when we attended the Nuneaton office this year for the annual Fire Extinguisher Inspection and spoke again with the MD to hear that they are expanding again with an office in Tamworth, also looking to move their Leicester and Corby branches to more modern, and easily accessable premises.
